Despite being so useless, the show was a huge success. Dipika Kakar, the adarsh bahu from the show became a household name. The actress is even part of the second season of the show that is currently being aired on television. However, Dipika has suddenly exited the show in just two months. We can’t help but wonder if the makers wanted her to do something bizarre and she refused? A protective naagin this time, maybe? Well, the actor has finally cleared the air about her exit on her YouTube channel. Keep reading to find out!
Turns out, she left the show because her character had a small track. In the clip, Dipika explained, “My track was this long only. When Rashmi (Sharma, producer) ma’am called me, it was already decided and she was clear with me from day one. She told me that she needs me for around two to two-and-a-half months. I was more than happy to do it.” She also added that there was an emotional reason for doing the show, as it became part of her identity. Dipika said, “Whoever I am today, it’s all because of Colors and Sasural Simar Ka. I got the opportunity to pay back, and in life, we don’t get this chance often. We need to give it our best, and I gave it my 200 percent, and I am very proud about it.”
The Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum actress also revealed that she was on a break when Rashmi contacted her. She said, “I wasn’t taking up any shows but when Rashmi ma’am called me for a meeting, I couldn’t turn it down. I have to do it, it’s my duty.”
Dipika ended the video by saying that you do some things in life, not for money or materialistic things but for your mental satisfaction and emotional reasons. Hmm..makes sense, if you ask us.
