The internet is going absolutely wild right now. The latest buzz is that Ekta Kapoor is scouting a female lead for the new season of Naagin 7. And we hear that the Bigg Boss 16 contestants may be her first choice. NGL, this info just made our Friday 10x better!
That’s right! Last night, Ekta took the internet by storm when she suggested on her latest Insta-post that she wants to offer a lead role to a BB housemate. The post included a video of Naagin 6‘s protagonist, Tejasswi Prakash dancing to the show’s popular track. And she captioned the post, ” Lots of love for this nagina 😁! Found her in d big boss house n in throes of corona n high fever n cough forced @colors n Manisha that I wanted to cast her ! Hopefully going to big boss for a exciting film announcement let’s see who we find there thsi time 🤛🏻🤛🏻🤛🏻😍😒😁😀😆💥💥💥💥#byebyyenagin.”
Although the post hinted at a movie offer, fans of Naagin are second-guessing if Ekta may be also looking for a female lead for her series. After all, season 6 just came to an end and let’s not forget, she found Tejasswi, last season’s Naagin on BB.
Soon after, Ekta dropped her latest Insta post, there was strong social media chatter that the producer’s first choice for the next Naagin is either Priyanka Chahar Choudhary or Sumbul Touqeer Khan. Both the gharwalas have prior acting experience and netizens believe they would make the perfect fit for the role. Got to say, we agree with them. Priyanka’s ballsy attitude has us convinced that she will make a badass Naagin. And although, Sumbul may be young, we think she could be the perfect fit with her supreme acting skills.
