We’re seven days into 2022 and we’re sure that most of us are already exhausted. The rising COVID-19 cases are scaring us big time and we do not know what the immediate future holds for us. Dia Mirza has shared the first clear glimpse of her son with her fans and OMG, he’s the cutest munchkin ever. His face is lighting up our day and bringing a huge smile to our faces. Not going to lie, but the mama-son duo has just given us a reason to end the first week of the year on a little cheerful note.
The actress shared a video on her Instagram handle where her little one, Avyaan Azaad Rekhi, can be seen playing with a toy. Take a look:
OMG he’s such a cutieee!! We have to say that he looks exactly like his mom and we love how he’s staring at the camera with those doe-eyes. His mama has dressed him up in a pristine white onesie and he’s looking like an angel while lying on a colourful mat. Dia wrote in the caption, “Peek – a – boo!!! Playtime with @shumeetoys 💚🌎💯” and used the song, If You’re Happy & You Know It by BabyDino in the background.
Dia and her husband, Vaibhav Rekhi, welcomed Avyaan in May last year. Earlier, the actress shared his glimpses on Instagram but kept his face hidden and hazy. In one heartfelt caption, she wrote, “Avyaan, you have taught us humility, grace, and the power of prayer 🐯 Stay blessed baby. You complete us in every way ❤️🧿”
Avyaan was born prematurely and had to wait for four months before coming home with his parents. While talking to a leading daily last Diwali, the actress said that she was grateful to celebrate the festival with her son. She said, “It is overwhelming to see Avyaan celebrate his first Diwali after all the challenges he had to overcome this year. He is truly a little champ and it has been so enriching to see him deal with everything that came his way with a big smile and such a pure, joyful spirit.”
Well, the little one is a fighter and it’s melting our hearts seeing him enjoy with his parents. We cannot wait to see more pics of the adorable baby this year!
