The Pearl Detailing
It seems like pearl core is about to be a major trend when in bridal wear. While usually bridal lehengas are decked with zari, zardozi and cutdana-work, Alia’s lehenga featured bespoke pearl detailing. The border of her dupatta and the sleeves on her blouse were adorned with pearls and it looked every bit stunning.

The sheer fairytale-like dupatta was decked with huge silver floral motifs that were a rather unique touch. We love how Manish Malhotra managed to incorporate oversized motifs into the ensemble without making it look tacky. Now, that takes some serious talent!
