When someone like Deepika Padukone, who has access to the world’s most luxurious fashion designers, chooses an outfit from a fast fashion brand like Zara, it gives me hope that I too can dress like a celebrity!
Deepika has given us the most spectacular looks at Cannes and Paris Fashion Week. But besides couture, I’ve noticed that Zara seems to be her go-to brand. She’s given high-end labels a miss and picked up stuff from a brand that most of us girls frequent.
Let’s look at all the times she made Zara outfits look like a million bucks:
Simply Colour-blocking
Deepika often hosts AMA (ask me anything) sessions on her Instagram stories. During one such session, the actress wore a soft purple Zara sweater that was priced at Rs 3,380. Believe it or not, it was the most expensive item in her ensemble! Her skirt and cherry earrings were both from H&M and cost Rs 799 and Rs 239 respectively.
Animal Print For The Win
Deepika agrees that one can never have too many sweatshirts. At a shoot, the diva was seen wearing a Rs 2,790 animal print sweater. The oversized sweater was styled with leather pants and I wonder if they were from Zara too!
Bringing The Plaid Back!
DP definitely doesn’t believe in the theory that sweaters and trench coats are only made for the winter, as evidenced by her airport looks. Shaleena Nathani dressed her muse, Deepika Padukone, in a sharp white blazer for an ad shoot. While the crispness and elegance of the blazer make it seem like a high-end luxury brand, it is actually from the shelves of Zara. Boiler Jumpsuit, FTW!
Boiler jumpsuits are the best way to look fashionable while also exuding IDGAF vibes. DP wore a beige Zara jumpsuit during her film promotions. Although the chic silhouette of the outfit makes it appear pricey, it was only around Rs 2,000. During yet another Insta AMA session, Deepika was seen dressed in a striped black-and-white tie-dye Zara sweatshirt that was teamed with a matching body-hugging skirt. Both pieces were priced at Rs 1,990 each!

I’m convinced that Zara is Deepika’s go-to brand, especially when she wants to conduct an Insta AMA session! She wore the brand for yet another one of those and picked a blue and white checkered vest this time. Layered over a plain white tee, it looked really classy.
