However, on the occasion of Friendship’s Day, Deepika crossed all records of cuteness as she uploaded the most adorable post for her husband Ranveer Singh. She shared a long quote from the writer N’tima Preusser about how one should always marry their best friend and tagged Ranveer.
The quote says, “Find the strongest, happiest friendship in the person you fall in love with. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your belly ache, and your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest, healing kind of laughs.” Well, we all know that when it comes to Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh always has the nicest things to say. No one hypes her up like he does and no one makes her dimples pop like he does!
Ranveer is also the person who always brings out Deepika’s goofy side. The actress, who is known for her poise and elegance, turns into a little child around her husband. This validates the quote’s phrase, “Life is too short not to love someone who lets you be a fool with them.” While Ranveer is DP’s source of joy, he has also been her pillar of strength. He stood by her when she went through her bouts of depression and anxiety. This also makes sense in the quote’s line, “Make sure they are somebody who lets you cry, too. Despair will come. Find someone that you want to be there with you through those times.”
The quote finally ends with, “Most importantly, marry the one that makes passion, love, and madness combine and course through you. A love that will never dilute – even when the waters are deep and dark.” TBH, it seems like the entire excerpt was written for Ranveer and Deepika. We understand why the actress decided to post this for her husband. As usual, Ranveer acknowledged the post by dropping a comment. He replied with an evil eye, heart, and infinity emoji.
