Remember how poles apart and contrastingly different Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh used to be when they first starting dating? While she was all calm and contained, Ranveer was clearly the spirited, ever-so-energetic one. Well, things have surely changed post their shaadi. Quite apparently, some of Ranveer’s personality seems to have rubbed on Deepika, and nope, we aren’t complaining.
Just last night, the actress took to Instagram to share her take on the currently viral ‘Buss It’ challenge and girl, did she kill it! For the unversed, this challenge has been named after rapper Erica Banks’ song. During the challenge, the participants generally start off grooving in their casual outfits and as the beat drops, there is a transition, and they are seen all dressed up.
That said, Deepika introduced her own adorable twist to the challenge as Ranveer appeared in the video after the beat drop.

The Moves!
A good point to start this comparison would be mentioning Ranveer Singh’s hyper-energetic persona that he is known and celebrated for. Guess what? In the ‘Buss It’ video, Deepika absolutely beats him in the energy department! Also, the moves are absolutely on fire. Our girl really knows how to ace that twerk and definitely deserves to win this point!
The Looks!
Clearly, a lot of hard work has gone into the video and the actors’ looks are proof. In the video, the two can be seen wearing printed co-ords with matching bucket hats and we gotta dissect their fashion game to declare a clear winner.
For the challenge, while Ranveer has opted for a red co-ord set featuring a quirky teddy bear print, Deepika has picked a beige set with a statement floral print. Now, on an ordinary day, it would be Ranveer’s outfits that win in this category. But….there is something about Deepika’s floral trackee that’s doing it for us. From the breezy silhouette to how that print is popping on that neutral base, we just love it all!
The verdict is pretty clear, you all. Deepika Padukone just stole the show with a score of 2-0!
