The actress has her favourites when it comes to fashion designers. Now, we all know her love for Sabyasachi but recently, she has found love in another designer for her western looks.
During the ongoing promotions for Chhapaak, Deepika seems to be wearing a lot of Emilia Wickstead – the designer who also happens to be one of the favourites of the British Royals Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. Here’s proof!
Pure Elegance In Pink
Just yesterday, Deepika was in the national capital promoting her upcoming film and her Emilia Wickstead outfit gave us super cosy vibes in #DilliKiSardi. Styled by Shaleena Nathani, Deepika’s pink Mirren knit sweater and ‘Gus’ trousers belong to the Emilia Wickstead X The Woolmark Company Capsule Collection that went up for sale in May 2019. What an absolute stunner!

The Classic Emilia Dress
A few days back, Deepika stepped out in a gorgeous bodycon red-coloured Emilia Wickstead dress.
Kate is also often spotted wearing similarly textured and solid-coloured ‘Kate dresses’ designed by Emilia. The ones she wears are usually full-sleeved with a not-too-body-hugging silhouette. It’s the hues that do the talking here! Here’s a picture of the Royal in the one such dress.
Beauty In Black
This one’s from the trailer launch of Chhapaak. Deepika stunned in a classic black midi dress by Emilia Wickstead with a pair of matching black heels by Giuseppe Zanotti. She is exuding elegance by complimenting her look with diamond earrings and a bracelet. DP has been proving that monotoning is not monotonous in her own style and we love it.
The former actress and now Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle was also spotted wearing a similar bespoke dress by the same designer during her Sydney tour in October 2018. We loved her black midi dress, too, with a square neck and full skirt. Take a look!
Now, it wouldn’t be wrong to believe that Deepika is definitely taking her fashion game outside of Sabyasachi and experimenting with international designers. Whether it is Alex Perry for award functions, sporting Jacquemus every now and then or her current crush Emilia Wickstead, we’re in awe!
