Deepika Padukone is going places and how! The latest addition to her ever-growing list of achievements is…wait for it… a wax statue each at Madame Tussauds in London and New Delhi! The actress announced this in a Facebook Live session from London itself. She’ll now be joining Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in the museum. *cannot stop smiling*
In the video, the actor is seen saying, “It’s fun, exciting and in a way I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then it’s really, really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it.” She also added, “The only time I visited Madame Tussauds was when I was very little with my parents. That memory has sort of stayed with me, obviously. And then to receive a letter and now to be a part of that, and to actually experience what goes into making these wax figures. I think Madame Tussauds is so iconic in so many ways so it’s really special.”
Seems like she’s really excited about being immortalised in wax! Also, beau Ranveer Singh cannot get enough of his girlfriend and his #womancrusheveryday! Recently, he left a line of kisses on a picture Deepika posted on Instagram. TBH, Deepika looked amazing in the picture, but it’s Ranveer whose PDA always gets us!
