Be it her Bollywood debut or her Lake Como wedding, one can always trust Deepika Padukone to make it grand & do it in style. Well, we weren’t expecting anything less as the star turned 35 yesterday. And while the pandemic might have diluted the ‘grand’ scale, the superstar still managed to factor in the style element with an intimate albeit star-studded birthday party last night.
With her husband Ranveer Singh by her side, Deepika rang in her 35th birthday with a few of her industry friends at a Mumbai restaurant. It was quite a guest list, to say the least, and we spotted Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Ishaan Khatter, Ayan Mukerji, and Siddhant Chaturvedi among others. The couple also played gracious hosts to all the media people around, and DP cut a cake with the paps.

The Star-Studded Birthday
Gotta give it to Ranveer for toning it down with his camp fashion and letting wifey grab all the limelight with her all-black outfit! We are totally eyeing that over-sized pullover.

Clearly, DP wasn’t the only one who stunned in her head-to-toe blacks last night. And as much as we love Deepika’s oversized sweater in the current weather, we’d like to bookmark Alia Bhatt’s statement crop top meets basic jeans outfit for the future! Also, don’t miss out on Ranbir Kapoor complimenting his lady love in black and white formals.
Ananya Pandey made it to the party with Karan Johar and the two provided a vibrant break from the otherwise monotone blacks with their white jumpsuit and print shirt respectively.
Ananya’s Khaali Peeli co-star, Ishaan Khatter was also spotted at the party in a rather fun sweatshirt and we can’t help but wonder if Ranveer Singh regretted toning it down after spotting him at the party.
Ranveer’s Gully Boy co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi was spotted at DP’s birthday bash.
