Don’t you sometimes wish you could just break free from all the shackles of a 9 to 5 routine, and just set off into the sunset with your dreams peeking from beyond the horizon? Soak in another day of sun and not conform to the mundane life that involves paying bills, buying groceries, or getting your 8 hours of sleep in a comfy bed at home? I sure do fantasise about a life of just the open roads and the constant joy of travel, especially on a Monday morning, but here’s the story of a couple who actually woke up one day and said: let’s do it!
Meet Shyam Singh and Anna Gapych, an Indo-Ukrainian couple who were slaves to the routine but now travel the world, with an aim of checking off 40 countries on their bucket list within just a year!
What’s unique about that, you may ask, since there are several inspirational people out there who’ve done the deed of quitting their day jobs and set off to travel? Well, the beautiful constant in their signature pictures from each destination in the world, is that they share an affectionate kiss in every country they travel to, usually in the backdrop of a prominent object of cultural importance relating to the country they’re in!
Coining the #KissIsIt, the couple has a series of spectacular photographs, all taken in beautiful locations around the world, and they’re simply dreamy!
“#KissIsIt is not a rebellious, dare the world, break all rules, be bold, stand for something move. It’s just collecting experiences from our travel while making it more creative and fun, our own way,” said the couple in an interview. They definitely have our vote for adding the creativity to travel photographs, all right!
Apart from documenting their stunning pictures, the couple also makes sure their readers get a little anecdote on every country they’re travelling to, in their Instagram captions, and also record vlogs on a YouTube channel dedicated to their adventures.
