There’s one question that’s bothering every #Ralia fan ATM and nope, it’s not related to their wedding. It’s about their most-anticipated movie, Brahmastra. It has been seven years since director Ayan Mukerji announced his ambitious sci-fi drama starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjun. Over the years, the team has postponed their shoot multiple times due to different circumstances. Their fans have been wondering when the movie will finally hit the theatres and honestly, the waiting period has been killing us!
Well, things finally paced up a few months ago and the actors resumed the shooting. Ayan recently took to his Instagram handle and shared several BTS pictures from the set. We have to say, these snaps are making us even more excited as they are hinting that the movie is going to be larger than life. Take a look:
As per Hindu mythology, Brahmastra is a supernatural weapon that possesses unlimited power and can cause mass destruction at once. It is one of the most lethal instruments mentioned in the ancient Indian texts and these pics have us convinced that Ayan’s movie has a connection with these mythological stories.
Mouni Roy will be playing the lead antagonist in the movie and the director also shared a sneak peek of her avatar on his social media handle.

Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjun will be playing pivotal roles in the movie. Apparently, the latter will be playing the role of an archaeologist who will be discovering some major secrets about time.
Brahmastra will mark the first movie of Ranbir and Alia together and we’re so excited! We cannot wait to see how sizzling these two will look together on-screen.
A source close to Ayan recently revealed that the movie is all set to release in September 2022. We’re sure that the wait is going to be worth it, and we cannot wait to watch the film after looking at these amazing pics!
