9 Times B-Town’s Upcoming Divas Gave Us Fashion Goals For Our #BestieKiShaadi!

Your best friend getting married is an amazing feeling. You run around with her, accompany her to salon appointments, fitting trials, and all the last minute shopping sprees. But while you’re making sure she looks like the perfect bride on her big day, you actually might fall short of time to figure out your own outfit for the wedding function. So listen up girlie, because you need to slay on her big day too! Figuring out what  you want to wear for your bestie’s D-Day is surely a task. But fret not because we have already done the hard work for you! Take your cue from the wedding fashion game of these upcoming Bollywood divas, and get ready to impress at your BFFs shaadi!

1. Tradition with a twist – Jhanvi Kapoor

Giving the traditional lehenga a fresh twist, Jhanvi Kapoor opted for a black Anamika Khanna outfit, a front slit skirt with a long train and intricately embroidered cigarette pants underneath, and a heavily embroidered choli. She kept her make-up minimal to balance out her heavy lehenga and finished the look with a boho touch to her hair.

For a wedding, Jhanvi opted for a shimmery turquoise velvet lehenga and a white choli with pink flowers embroidered on it. She completed her look with natural looking make-up and some chunky jewellery.

2. Pretty in pastels – Khushi Kapoor

Just like her elder sister Jhanvi Kapoor, Khushi too is known for her impeccable fashion sense. She wore this gorgeous lavender Manish Malhotra off-shoulder lehenga and looked stunning to say the least. She accessorized her look with a delicate maangtika and a bracelet. She also shows you that keeping your make-up and accessories minimal with a heavy lehenga is a great idea, as that doesn’t take the focus away from the outfit.

Khushi picked this beautiful pretty pink Manish Malhotra lehenga for another event and made us drool yet again.

3. Floral game on point – Suhana Khan

Suhana was truly a sight to behold in this beautiful floral sheer overlay lehenga designed by Seema Khan, that she donned at a recent family wedding in Delhi. With her hair down and keeping her make-up minimal, she slayed with her look. The only accessory she opted was a matching floral maangtika, and that was all it took for us to go ‘wow’! This is a perfect look for your bestie’s mehendi ceremony.

Suhana wore a hand-embroidered Monisha Jaising lehenga in sage green for the same wedding in Delhi. The lehenga embellished with crystals and silk thread embroidery was a complete show stealer and Suhana carried it with a lot of grace for the day wedding. And since her outfit was visibly heavy, she completely gave accessories and heavy make-up a miss. Good call, Suhana!

4. Frills and ruffles done right – Ananya Pandey

Ananya’s fashion game was on point as she opted for a peach ruffled lehenga by Surily G and we are lost for words. You can opt for a pretty ruffled outfit for your friend’s sangeet or reception. Do what she did, and keep your make-up natural so that it doesn’t steal the limelight from your outfit.

One can never go wrong with Manish Malhotra’s  Bollywood-style outfits, and the stunning way in which Ananya carried this one left us asking for more, really! The heavily embroidered pink skirt with a blush pink off-shoulder blouse made Ananya look like a princess. Her braided hairstyle and light dewy make-up were all the finishing touches needed to complete her look.

5. Of all things royal – Sara Ali Khan

With her royal lineage, Sara’s fashion sense is obviously quite classy. At the Virushka reception, the Pataudi princess was spotted wearing a voluminous lime green lehenga with an embellished blouse and an organza dupatta. Sara looked amazing with her lightly curled hair, a pair of diamond earrings and an au-naturel make-up look.

Now that we (and the upcoming divas, obviously!) have given you so many ideas for what the kinds of outfits you could pick for your best friend’s wedding, we hope you are all set to slay!
