2020 has been hard on all of us. Eight months into the year, we’ve witnessed things that are making us believe that doomsday might be around the corner. While the year started with the pandemic locking us all in our houses, locust attacks, wildfires and cyclones followed. Considering that we’ve spent nearly five months coping up with the new normal, we now need some respite from all the stressful news about the novel coronavirus.

I don’t know about you, but I take small breaks while working from home. And during these breaks I scroll through my Instagram feed. And today, in between my usual double taps on makeup trends and mehendi designs, I found this bride who performed a flash mob along with her bridesmaids at her engagement ceremony. The video from the pre-COVID era, of course, cheered me up while I played it on loop. Meet Nupur Sarda and Akshay Kasera, who tied the knot in Bikaner and had the most beautiful wedding.

In the video, the bride, who is a choreographer herself, can be seen grooving to the tunes of Sau Aasmano Ko and I Wanna Marry You.

Towards the end of the performance, she took Akshay to the stage and the couple danced with each other. And then the couple exchanged rings. Oh em gee, SUPER CUTE! Check out the video:
