Your morning skincare routine should focus on nourishing your skin and protecting it from sun damage.

Step 1: Hydrating Cleanse

Wash your face with a gentle cleanser that also leaves your skin feeling hydrated. This helps soothe your skin and keeps it fresh for longer.

Step 2: Swipe & Glow

Swipe on a toner to keep your skin’s pH levels balanced, and your pores clear and minimised.

Step 3: Drops Of Youth

Pat a niacinamide serum or a vitamin C serum into your skin. These types of serums will help with skin discolouration and dark spots and they will also make your skin plump and smooth.

Step 4: Creamy Delight

Massage a moisturiser that suits your skin type on your face and neck. Look for moisturisers with ayurvedic ingredients for glowing skin.

Step 5: Sunny Plans

Never skip sunscreen in the daytime, irrespective of whether you’re indoors or outdoors. If you don’t use sunscreen all your skincare efforts will go to waste. Apply any broad-spectrum SPF that is non-comedogenic and lightweight.

PM Skin Routine

Your skin heals itself at night. That’s why an evening skincare routine is the most effective.

Step 1: Take It Off

Remove your makeup with a cleansing oil that also doubles as a face wash. This will easily remove all traces of makeup gently without causing irritation.

Step 2: Evening Mist

Spritz your face with a soothing face mist in order to tone your skin and keep it refreshed.

Step 3: Active Action

Apply a retinol serum to your face and neck as this will take care of all your skin concerns be it dark circles, dark spots, uneven skin tone or texture.

Step 4: Mask Up

Raise your skin’s hydration levels by opting for a sleeping mask instead of just a night cream in the PM. Sleeping masks will ensure your skin is well moisturised as you sleep and will have you waking up to youthful-looking skin in the morning.

Reserve Sundays for a skin pampering session as every bride needs this.

Step 1: Unclog Those Pores

Since you need to exfoliate at least once a week, do it on the weekend. First, use a hydrating face wash and then you can either apply a chemical peel or use a powder exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and deep-rooted impurities from your skin.

Step 2: Clean Sweep

Swipe your skin with a hydrating toner. Opt for one that contains natural ingredients to experience optimal results.

Step 3: Glow Sheets

Indulge in a sheet mask for 20 minutes after cleansing, exfoliating and toning your skin.

Step 4: Skin Yoga

Opt for a face massage tool like a Gua Sha or an electric face roller. Use it to massage the residue of the sheet mask and help the residue penetrate deeper for better results. In case you used a bubble sheet mask that needed to be washed off, you can apply a facial oil and then use the massage tool to get the ideal slip for the facial toning exercises.

Give your skin consistent care if you want your skin to glow on your wedding day. Begin this skincare routine at least 2 months prior to your wedding day to see the best results.
