Nothing can match the excitement of a bride-to-be! But along with the butterflies, there’s also a whole lot of nerves and the fear of ‘what if something goes wrong’. It’s all so overwhelming even though months are spent to get every little detail right. Despite all the planning, some things can still go wrong.
A Kolkata-based beauty influencer and blogger, Sohini Chanda, took her Instagram to share her wedding horror story. The blogger shared a video in which she revealed that a famous MUA ditched her at the very last moment, despite being booked and paid in advance. Sohini shared that the artist was supposed to reach the venue by 3:30 pm but he was not even there by 7:20 pm. All the guests reached the venue and were waiting for her to come down for the rituals. But because of him, she got late for the ceremony. She further shared that the MUA was not picking up her calls and went on to block her number as well. In the end, Sohini had to do her own makeup, which luckily she knew how to do. Shockingly, she revealed that the MUA took the full payment in advance, which was around Rs. 20,000.
While sharing her ordeal, Sohini almost teared up a bit but calmed herself down. And NGL, it was heartbreaking to see a bride panicking on her special day because of someone else’s mistake. Take a look at the video below.
Sohini then released a full video on her YouTube channel in which she shared that the MUA arrived but he was already 4.5 hrs late. Further on, the blogger said that he did the rest of her makeup but it was completely opposite of what she wanted. The MUA did not even listen to Sohini. But still, she maintained her calm and composure throughout the entire process.
