Both Alia and Sidharth made their Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year in 2012 and fell for each other soon after that. They were rumoured to be dating for two long years. Although they didn’t go public with their relationship, they did speak about it after breaking up. In an interview, Sidharth had shared that it was a mutual break-up. He said, “I don’t think it’s bitter (his relationship with Alia post the split). We haven’t really met after that, to be honest. And it’s civil. It’s been a while and it happens… just like any other relationship. I have known her for much longer. I did know her much before, even before we were dating. So, it’s not like we met as a particular boyfriend-girlfriend thing. I think it’ll remain. It’s just a matter of us coming back.”
Alia Bhatt & Ali Dadarkar
If the rumours are to be believed, Ali is Alia’s first true love. The two dated for a long time before the actress made her Bollywood debut. They were often spotted together on dinner dates. However, it’s not clear why they parted ways.
Ranbir Kapoor & Deepika Padukone
Apparently, Ranbir and Deepika fell head over heels for each other on the sets of Bachna Ae Haseeno. In fact, as soon as they wrapped up the movie shoot, they even met each other’s parents. The actress had also got a tattoo for Ranbir. However, the two parted ways when Deepika got to know about Ranbir cheating on her. Fortunately, all’s well between the two now as they’re frequently spotted together at parties. Ranbir is also quite close to Deepika’s husband, Ranveer Singh. All is well that ends well, right?
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif
Rumour has it that Katrina broke up with Salman as she’d fallen for Ranbir Kapoor but well, we don’t know how true that is. Love blossomed between them on the sets of their first movie Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani in 2009. They soon moved in together, and Kat was often spotted at the Kapoor khandan get-togethers. However, the couple called it quits after dating for six years and the reason for their breakup remains unknown. Although, it looks like they ended things on a good note as they worked together in Jagga Jasoos post their separation.
Ranbir Kapoor & Sonam Kapoor
Ranbir and Sonam made their Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s, Saawariya. The buzz is that the two grew close to each other while shooting for the film, however, they broke up as Ranbir fell for Deepika. While the two haven’t commented on their relationship, we know how Sonam feels or at least did back then. Remember that episode of Koffee with Karan where Deepika and Sonam slammed Ranbir? However, it looks like things are fine between them now as they even did a movie together in 2018.
Well, sometimes things fall apart so that better things can happen, right? Ranbir and Alia look like soulmates and we’re so glad they found each other. TBH, we can’t wait until next week to witness their beautiful wedding.
