Somebody please pinch us coz’ we can’t believe that Bigg Boss 16 is all set to premiere tonight. For months, we’ve been waiting for this day and now that it’s finally here, our excitement knows no bounds. We know that all BB lovers also share the same excitement. We know you too can’t wait to see who the contestants are and get a glimpse of what the BB house looks like. But guess what? You may not have to wait until tonight.
Luckily for you, we’ve got all the deets about the Bigg Boss 16 theme. It’s one that will transport you to a time in childhood where you truly believed in magic. Still don’t know what it is? Well, this year’s theme is Circus and the BB house is all decked up to match the vibe.
The Circus Of Life
Bringing fantasy to life, the Bigg Boss house this year is adorned with circus-themed elements such as a joker’s face at the entrance of the house, ornate mezzanine floor, and clown dolls and toy animals at every nook and corner. From a carousel as a dining table to the jail designed as a maut ka kuan, everything about the house screams grandeur. To add to the dream-like opulence, the garden area with the pool has a grand sculpture of a horse made from mirror mosaic. The confession room too has been turned into a circus wagon. Don’t worry the bathrooms have not been left behind as they have also been fashioned as tents in the backyard of the circus.
However, the main attraction of the house is the glass cubicle area that has been set up for trading secrets. And on this glass cubicle rests the two giant legs of Pinocchio and its feet serve as a seating area. Sounds interesting, right?
The Sleeping Quarters
Unlike all the other seasons of BB history, this year there will be four separate bedrooms, each with a unique ambience. Not only is the ambience different from each room, but they are also ranked in a hierarchy of comfort. Take, for instance, the ‘Fire Room’ that has a gloomy feel and is a space of danger that will test the resilience of contestants. Or the ‘Black and White Room’ where every element right from the floor, carpet, and table to the wall is in the shades of black and white.
However, like every season this year the Captain’s room is luxurious as ever. Not only is it huge, but it has many other comforts such as a jacuzzi, a massive and gorgeous bed, a private restroom, quirky hand-shaped seating, and more. Well, it’ll be definitely fun to see the contestants fight it out to get access to this space.
Let’s Dine!
The creative minds Omung Kumar B. and Vanita Omung Kumar have nailed the look of this exquisite fantasyland with the dining and kitchen area being the main visual treat. The kitchen has a grand carnival-like setup embellished with marquee tassels and elephant paintings. The dining room, on the other hand, is designed as a massive carousel placed at the centre of the house.
