Bigg Boss 16 has been an insane roller coaster ride from the very beginning! Yesterday’s episode disproved our belief that this season couldn’t possibly get any more dramatic. On the show, Sumbul’s father made a guest appearance and reprimanded Shalin and Tina for their dirty mind tricks. Now as per the promo, Salman Khan is not very happy with Shalin either. Shalin tries to defend himself in front of Sumbul after her father humiliated him in the previous episode. Sumbul confirms that she will still be friends with him. Shalin plays the victim card. Tina joins the conversation and says that something else is being projected to the audience. Sumbul says she is not blaming either of them.

Shalin is frustrated about the situation and starts weeping in front of Sumbul and Tina while talking about his son.

Sumbul starts sobbing and says that she can’t be close to Tina and Shalin because her father does not approve of their friendship. Tina exclaims that they were just concerned about Sumbul.

Gautam and Nimrit tells Shalin that they had already warned him about Sumbul. Nimrit says that this chaos was initiated by Tina.

Sumbul is informed by Nimrit that she shouldn’t put her trust in anyone in the BB-verse. Shalin claims he cannot afford to build a negative reputation.

Shalin, Tina and Sumbul hold each other’s hands and decide to deal with the situation together.

Sumbul is questioned by Salman Khan on why she ignored her father’s counsel and continued to defend herself in front of Shalin and Tina.

Sajid tells Salman that he thinks that Sumbul is a little confused about her decisions.

In order to get guidance and support when she is perplexed, Salman recommends Sumbul to turn to the other competitors rather than Shalin and Tina.

With Priyanka and Nimrit, Salman performs a task. In order to vote for Nimrit or Priyanka, the other contestants must place a thumbs-up next to them on the scale.

Rakulpreet Singh and Sidharth Malhotra walk onto the Bigg Boss stage. Sid and Salman compare their abs. Salman makes fun of Sid’s rumoured wedding to Kiara Advani.

Sid and Rakul meet the BB contestants on screen. They pair up the contestants and ask them to perform on a romantic number.

Sid and Rakul play a game with the contestants. The contestants have to do as they say and if they succeed they’ll be rewarded. Abdu and Sajid get rewarded with burgers (burgirrr) and pizzas.

The Dabangg star urges MC Stan to pick one contestant he believes to be real and one he believes to be a fake. MC Stan chose Sajid as the real deal and Shalin as the fake. The rapper also gets overwhelmed when Salman plays his mother’s audio recording.

Salman Khan asks the contestants to name one such contestant they want to punish. Shalin and Tina vote for Nimrit since they feel that she has betrayed them. Shalin publicly apologises to Sumbul’s father.

The maximum vote goes to Shalin. Salman also calls him out on his arrogance and pompousness toward the BB doctor who was assigned to treat him. The host is hella pissed!

Salman asks Shalin to repeat exactly what he told the doctor in front of the other contestants who are unaware of this hideous incident. Shalin justifies his actions by claiming that he was extremely anxious at the time.

Salman calls Shalin a narcissist and tells him that he did not understand the situation and simply overreacted. He publicly apologises to the doctor while being schooled.

Archana, MC Stan and Shiv discuss Sumbul’s ignorance towards her father’s advice. They also point out that Sumbul is still hanging out with Shalin.

The first elimination round of the season takes place and Sreejita gets evicted from the BB House

Shalin asks Sumbul if she has feelings for him and she straight denies. He comforts her and promises to always be there for her as a friend. Tina and Shalin are upset that Gautam did not even come to check up on them.
