Whether you like it or not, every season of Bigg Boss has at least one contestant who knows how to turn a mole into a mudda. In Bigg Boss 16, that’s Archana Gautam. The model-turned-politician is a nightmare to deal with but we admire her for the fact that she treats every single housemate equally. Yes, she’s a pain. But hey, she’s a pain for everyone (including the contestants that we despise).
In last night’s episode, she made it hell for Sajid Khan and we applaud her for not putting him on a pedestal, unlike every other contestant in the house. Since his arrival in the house, the director has been treated as an authoritative figure. Every contestant addresses him as “sir,” and guess what? He encourages them to do so. He has even gotten his work chores done by using his intimidating persona. Gori Nagori, for example, used to wash his clothes until he started treating her like crap.
While everyone treats him like he’s the boss, Archana has no desire to be in his good books. The politician refused to do the chores assigned to her by Sajid in last night’s episode. He needed a reality check and she gave him exactly that.
Things only got worse during the ration task. Sajid was the sanchalak and he got the power to decide how much ration ends up in each room. He had the power to give the contestants as much time as he wished to select their food. While he gave Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik extra time, he disqualified Archana for breaking the rules. This was not acceptable to her. She caused a commotion and questioned Sajid’s decision. She even referred to him as ‘partial’ and ‘unfair’. The entire house was supporting Sajid but Archana was not afraid to fight alone. The director was eventually taken to the hospital after his blood pressure spiked.

Towards the end of the episode, Sajid was seen telling Archana that she is messing with the wrong person. Archana responded to this by saying, “Kyun? Aapki koi badi pahuch hai kya? (Why? Are you someone with big contacts?)” TBH, we admire Archana’s bravery and candour. She can be annoying at times but at least she isn’t here to form fake relationships.
