Bigg Boss 13: Tehseen Poonawalla Beat Rashami Desai To Become The Highest Paid Contestant

In yet another plot twist on Bigg Boss Season 13, three new contestants joined the show this week, Hindustani Bhau, Keshari Lal Yadav and Tehseen Poonawalla. All the contestants were introduced by host Salman Khan on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. One of the new entrants, renowned political analyst and columnist Tehseen Poonawalla is rumoured to be the highest-paid contestant this season! Rumour has it that Tehseen is getting a whopping 21 lakhs per week, beating TV actress Rashami Desai.

Elated to be part of the show, Tehseen announced his entry to the BB house on his Twitter handle.

Given how well Tehseen’s political career is going, we’re not sure why he wanted to be a part of the Bigg Boss house. Salman Khan too wondered the same and asked him why he was here. Tehseen said that he felt that the Bigg Boss house needed some guidance and leadership. He believed that he is the perfect candidate to take charge of the situation inside the house. Tehseen was also pretty confident that he would be taking home the big guns. He told Salman, “100% I am winning sir. Main yahan jeetne ke liye hi aaya hoon aur jeet ke hi jaunga. Aur 12 January ko jab finale hoga, Inshallah main aapke saath khada hounga and I will be the winner.

Now with that kind of confidence, we’re all wondering how big a payday Tehseen’s really in for. According to reports, Rashami Desai is making approximately Rs 1.2 crores for her stay in the Bigg Boss house. Among other speculative reports, Rashami Desai’s beau Arhaan Khan and Koena Mitra (who was evicted in week 2) will be coming on as wild card entries soon. Bigg Boss started with 13 contestants and when this week ends, we will be left with only 6.

What do you think, will Tehseen win the show this year?
