When Jimis Burger started out, they opened up in a really compact space in Evershine Nagar, Malad. They had these sleek wall mounted dining tables on both sides of the restaurant and three or four chairs scattered around. While the place was tiny, the burgers made up for it. I kid not, but even back then, this burger joint was packed with people! Their burger joint became such a success, they now have not just one giant restaurant in Mumbai, but three! (Hello, Malad, Andheri and Vashi) I know people who travel all the way from Sobo just to eat their burgers.

What a cute restaurant name, right? There’s a story behind it. It’s a depiction of the family behind the business. Mum and two daughters are the chicks and dad with his glasses is the bear. Over the years, this family has hosted a number of hamburger parties. They’re known for serving well-made, meaty burgers to their customers. If you’re in South Bombay, you must drop by and give your taste buds a treat!

Howra Burger Joint has five outlets scattered all over Mumbai. They’re in Malad, Lower Parel, Hill Road, Mazgaon and Manpada. What I like about all these five joints is how clean, minimal and simple the place is. Grab a burger, a side of onion rings and a soft drink – life is good!

How could I forget Imbiss? This place is gold for all things meat. Every Bandrite takes pride in recommending this place out loud. Imbiss is at Hill Road and if you’re visiting for the first time, it could be difficult to find this place. So make sure you switch on your google map!
