There’s nothing quite more annoying than your lipstick fading and having to reapply it multiple times a day. If you’re not a fan of a matte finish or liquid lipsticks, you know the struggles of reapplying the same lip colour over and over again. What if I told you there was a simple solution to this? A lip primer, similar to a face primer is meant to be applied before you apply your lipstick. It will not only increase the longevity of your lipstick but also help it glide on like a dream. Moreover, it will fill in all those cracks and crevices in your lips where that lipstick tends to settle. And if you have pigmented lips, a good primer will mask any darkness and pigmented skin on your lips.
Here is the list of some best lip primers which are available in India. Check ou the same here.

A lip primer is similar to a face primer, it creates a smooth base for your lipstick, fills in any cracks and crevices in your lips and increases the longevity of your lipstick. If you pick up a primer that has a slight tint, it can mask pigmented lips and make sure that your lipstick gives off the best, true to colour pigmentation.
You use a lip primer the same way you use a lipstick. Just apply it on your lips and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then apply your lipstick over it.
You don’t necessarily need a lip primer, it’s a matter of personal choice. Like a face primer, some people swear by it and some people couldn’t be bothered. If you use creamier lipsticks, a lip primer will increase the wear time of your lipstick.
It helps your lipstick last longer, it masks pigmented lips, makes your lips look smoother and plumper. It also helps in stopping your lipstick from bleeding and feathering around your lip line.
A lip primer is used to increase the wear time of your lipstick while a lip balm is meant to soothe and nourish your lips.
