Monday ‘blues’ has started to seem like an understatement, hasn’t it? Whether you had a mellow, laid-back weekend or you partied it all away, Mondays suck all the same. Even for Bollywood celebrities. So, there’s nothing wrong with taking a short break from work to travel back in time and take a look at what the stars wore on their respective weekends. From Janhvi Kapoor’s stripped flared jeans to Tamannaah Bhatia’s sparkly suit, celebrities’ wardrobes never had a slacking moment. Here’s what caught our eye as we browsed through Instagram, this morning:
1. Flared Up
Like me, Janhvi Kapoor likes her weekends casual and family-oriented. The young star kid stepped out for dinner with sisters Khushi, Anshula and dad Boney Kapoor, in a worthy outfit. We’re lusting after her rocker-chic graphic tee from Redone, which she paired with sky blue boot-cut jeans that were striped to perfection. P.S. A nice finishing touch with the nude mules and a blue Goyard crossbody bag.
2. Before The Sunset
When it comes to airport dressing, stars are almost always spotted in athleisure – a t-shirt with joggers and some comfy sneakers. And Sonam Kapoor, almost always, digresses from the standard dress code. We’re not mad! Her sunset orange co-ord has summer growing on us despite all the heat. Also, why has no one colour-blocked orange with more orange before? Beats us!
3. Flower Hour
Quantico star Priyanka Chopra was in prints all this weekend but our favourite look has to be this navy and pink floral halter-neck jumpsuit. Shooting an ad in the tea gardens of Assam, looks like PeeCee was inspired by all the nature around her. She finished her look with some chunky white sandals and a metallic watch.
4. Pink Baby
They say weekends are for brunches and Khushi Kapoor sure got the memo. The 17-year-old star kid put on a baby pink sundress with frill detail for a casual meal in the city. Khushi clubbed a nude tote and strappy flats with her cute outfit… This dress makes me dream of lazy afternoons at the French Riviera. *sigh*
5. Heavy Metal
Whoever said silver and gold don’t belong together obviously never spoke to Tollywood star Tamannaah Bhatia. The actress attended a work event decked up in a silver and gold stripped pantsuit with a tie-waist belt. She worked the look with minimal jewellery and patent pumps in silver. You go, Tamannaah!

TBH, usually, we’re not obsessed with Disha Patani’s wardrobe choices. However, on the weekend, the Bollywood celebrity went out for lunch with boyfriend Tiger Shroff and his family in the cutest button-down shirt. With Avengers’ Infinity War just hitting the screens, it seems like perfect timing, doesn’t it? She paired the shirt with denim cut-offs and slip-on trainers. Good job, Miss Patani. P.S. Aditi Rao Hydari was spotted with the same shirt on! Inspired or coincident?
7. #Spotted
Polka dots are making their way through celebrities’ closets this season. With Alia Bhatt’s Giambattista Valli dress last weekend to this one-shouldered wonder on Jennifer Winget. Making a statement with her ruffled sleeves at a promotional event, the TV star looked picture perfect in this midi dress!
8. Last Warning
Looks like Karisma Kapoor wore our Monday t-shirt a bit early! The seasoned Bollywood star spoke our minds with her slogan tee – she wore the tee to the airport paired with a casual black blazer and skinny blue jeans. Airport outfit on point!
