How do you know if a makeup product is worth the hype? Apart from reviews on third-party platforms and articles like these, one of my go-to ways to figure out if a product is worth the splurge or not is by going through the reviews of some of my favourite beauty influencers on Instagram.
I know, I know – while concerns like ‘don’t trust everything on the internet’, ‘how do you know they’re not using a filter’ etc. are pretty valid, over the years I’ve created a roster of beauty influencers with a loyal following and immense credibility, who could tell me to buy anything and I wouldn’t even think twice!
