Ever find a product you love so much you look for reasons to use it? The Bath & Body Works Gingham Ultimate Hydration Body Cream is that for me. I’ve never looked forward to my showers at the end of the day more than I do now. From the decadent scent to the luxurious way it just melts into the skin, this product is a pleasure to use.

What Is It?

A body cream that you won’t be able to stop using once you start. The Gingham range from Bath & Body Works became a fan-favourite all thanks to this OG product, along with its variants (shower gel, body mist, body lotion and hand cream).

Our Thoughts

Saying it smells like a garden of flowers would be incorrect. No, it’s not overwhelmingly floral despite its notes of freesia, fresh clementine, and violet. The white peach and clean musk gives it a citrusy, fruity tinge. It reminds me of the summer holidays we had when we were younger that were filled with delightful fruits, sweet-smelling flowers, and so much warmth.

While I have an oily T-zone, the skin on my body is as dry as the Sahara. No amount of hydration seems to quench it, especially in the winter. I’ve taken to hyaluronic acid-infused body products to do the deed and this one fits the bill. The product is infused with body-loving ingredients like shea butter and hyaluronic acid. While these ingredients make this feel rich and luxurious, perfect for winter, it’s not super thick and can be used even during the summer.

It might be a little heavy on the pocket but its effectiveness makes up for that. When I need to cut down on my budget, I use this only for *special* occasions or when I’m in need of a pampering session.

If you’re on a budget, the best time to purchase it is when it’s on sale. Bath & Body Works has a sale almost every quarter, with slashed prices and discounts that’ll make the products seem like a steal!

How To Use It

After a shower, when your body is still damp, massage the body cream all over to nourish, moisturise and rehydrate your skin.
