Baraati Bride? That’s One Way To Do It
Done with the sexist idea of the girl’s family welcoming the guy’s family, Simran decided to have her own baraat and a pretty cool one for that. Dressed in her glorious Sabyasachi, the bride boarded a flaming red, convertible car to reach the wedding venue. Her gold lehenga provided a glorious contrast to the vintage car and we are in love with this bride for her fun spirit and the taste for all things off-beat.

From the plunge neck blouse to the floral organza dupatta, while the designer’s signature aesthetics can be easily spotted on the beautiful outfit, it is the unique hue that sets it apart. It is not your everyday gold lehenga. The beige clearly rules the palette here and there is just something about the understated yet impactful look that has us hooked.
Simran stuck to her simple albeit minimal aesthetic in the jewellery department as well and opted for a simple, gold necklace with uncut ruby details. She paired it with traditional jhumkis and a beautiful tikka that you might want to bookmark in case you have a thing for statement bridal picks.
Simran ditched the regular bun for soft, defined curls that were left loose and there is just no missing out on the blooming roses adorning her hair!
