That’s right: good ol’ bananas are as satisfying for our skin and hair as they are for our stomach. Bananas are high in vitamin E which makes them a great moisturising agent. Plus, they also contain high amounts of antioxidants which help increase the skin’s elasticity and curb the signs of aging.
Although banana-infused skincare has been ruling over the last couple of years. However, most of them skew towards the expensive side. So, if you are looking for inexpensive ways to incorporate it into your beauty regimen, scroll ahead for DIYs that will give your brighter skin and soft, smooth hair.
Step 1: To a bowl, add 1 fully ripe banana and mash it until there are no lumps.
Step 2: Next, add 2 tablespoons of organic honey along with 2 teaspoons of freshly squeezed orange juice. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the consistency feels smooth. Apply this onto your face, and let it sit for at least 15 minutes before rinsing it off with slightly cold water.
Step 1: In a bowl, take a ripe banana and start mashing it with a fork until there are no lumps.
Step 2: Next, add 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed aloe vera gel. Stir the two ingredients until they’re properly blended.
Step 3: Then add 3 teaspoons of almond oil and mix thoroughly. Apply the paste onto cleansed skin. Let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing it off.
