From gushing over Yami Gautam’s beautiful shaadi pictures to covering Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya’s big fat Indian wedding, things have been pretty exciting at our end. We’ve enjoyed looking at pictures, videos and every reel from our fave celebs’ special days.
In fact, we loved waking up and looking at all the wedding madness on the ‘gram. And now after the #Dishul wedding is over, we’ve been feeling gloomy. Sigh!
But guess what? We just came across something that instantly put us in a better mood and we’re sure you’re gonna love it as well. Yami shared a special post from her haldi ceremony on her Instagram yesterday. In the video, Yami’s dad can be seen applying haldi on his daughter’s face and the clip is making us so emotional RN. She captioned it, “It took a wedding to finally have so many moments captured with my camera-shy father. Happy birthday to my amazing paa. Ever since Yami got hitched to filmmaker Aditya Nath on June 4, we have been waiting to hear their love story. And finally, the actress has opened up and told us how she fell for Aditya. She said, “I’d say the start was during the promotion of Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). That’s when we started talking.” However, the actress said she wouldn’t call that their dating period but the start of a beautiful friendship between the two. She further added, “You just know it. When you start understanding the person’s value system, and what family he belongs to. You don’t have to have similarities or share common things in your interests, but have similarities in your value system and in your ethics. And we share that a lot. I have a lot of respect for Aditya and I had a lot of respect for him as a professional and as a person.” We agree! Understanding each other and respect for your partner is a great foundation for a happy and lasting marriage.
