It’s officially monsoon season and we’re celebrating it with makeup! We’re pretty sure you’ve seen fall makeup trends using shades of ochre and orange and summer trends using bright pops of neon, so why not celebrate the season of baarish too? Bring out the chai pakoras and eyeshadow palettes because these monsoon looks are going to wow you.

The Blue Hue

Diana Penty is rocking this metallic blue liner with a brownish nude crease colour along with nude lips with a hint of pink and coats and coats of mascara. Well, going for an all-round nude look and letting the blue be in focus is a gorgeous way of doing it.

Let’s Put The Fun In Funky

Kiara Advani stepped it up a notch with her blue eyeliner by actually making it double toned. Starting with a sky blue shade she slowly transitioned it into cobalt and it looks beautiful. For eyeshadow, she went for a brown crease colour letting the winged liner be the showstopper.

Glitter Baby

Trust Disha Patani to rock any kind of makeup look but this blue glitter one is our fave. She went for a dark blue glitter eyeliner and added some loose pigment on it for that extra sparkle and then went for a lighter shade of blue in her crease. The eyelid itself was left somewhat neutral except for some light dusting of glitter shadow. Well defined eyebrows and pink lipgloss completed the look and wow!

She Blue Me Away

Sonakshi Sinha’s all-over blue eyeshadow sure makes a statement. Keeping it all one toned, she decided to amp up the look with a black winged eyeliner which also defined her crease. With a tinge of white in her inner corner and white liner in her lower lash line, she finished it off with falsies and we’re floored!

The Mood For Shimmer

Our very own desi girl made a beauty statement with her bold and gorgeous light blue eyeliner along with subtle orange eyeshadow. She lightly highlighted her brow bone, filled in her eyebrows and put on mascara. She finished off with a gorgeous my-lips-but-better shade and looked like the Goddess she is.

Drippin’ In Colour

An all-over wash of blue eyeshadow also looks superb, just look at Jacquline Fernandes rocking it. She went for a darker colour deposit right next to the lash line and slowly worked it upwards blending it into the crease. The glitter added a little more shine to it and she looked her sparkly best. She finished off the look with some falsies.

So, let’s experiment with shades of blue this monsoon to welcome the rain Gods.
