B-Town Celebs Unleash Full Glamm At The First Diwali Party Of The Season

This is going to be an exciting week with Diwali just around the corner. It’s time to deck up the house, lock in some gifts for your loved ones, and make the most of all those card parties. But just in case you seek some inspiration to get started, B-town has got you covered. Last night, Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap threw a glamm Diwali party and the pictures from the bash are all over our Insta feed now. The snaps are enough to get you into the party mood and, more importantly, inspire you to dress to the nines. Here are our favourite looks:

Host Mode On

The lovely hosts dressed to kill for their Diwali party. Ayushmann opted for a black mirror work pathani kurta pyjama. He styled it with a chunky sports watch and looked dapper. Tahira complemented him in an ivory lehenga featuring multi-coloured resham embroidery.

Matchy-Matchy

Kartik Aaryan played matchy-matchy with Ayushmann in a navy kurta pyjama and they even shot a video together.

Chaos But Make It Cute

NGL, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal had us confused with their polar opposite fits. While Richa went full glamm in a silver Amit Aggarwal saree complete with a structured pallu, Ali kept it laidback in a cotton kurta and baggy jeans. Guess whatever they say about opposites attracting each other is true after all.

Festive & How!

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal channelled solid festive vibes in their vibrant outfits. We loved how Natasha’s cobalt blue saree contrasted with Varun’s orange kurta. Also, is it just us or does her blue saree remind you of Deepika Padukone’s iconic drape from Badtameez Dil?

Show Stealing Glamm

Instagram

Ananya Panday gave us a show-stealing look in her brocade gharara and embellished bralette. She finished it off with a matching net dupatta and light kudan jewels. This is a bookmark-worthy look for all the fashion gworls who like to risqué it!

Subtle But Statement

Patralekhaa’s baby pink saree had our attention for its statement ruffles and corset blouse. Equal parts statement and understated, this is a great Diwali party look. We love how she finished it off with a sleek ponytail and minimal jewels. Rajkummar matched her vibe in an embellished grey shirt and white trousers. In case you were wondering if pastels work for the festive season, here is your answer.

Keeping It Comfy

Always one to keep it comfy and chic, Neha Dhupia showed up in a breezy lime green kurta set featuring intricate gota patti work. Meanwhile, Angad Bedi had the fashion ball rolling in a hand-painted kurta and relaxed trousers.

So Fresh!

Last night, someone on Diet Sabya’s Insta stories commented on how Kriti Sanon’s saree looks like a dining table cover and we can’t unsee it now. That said, this is definitely a fresh fit that made the actress stand out from the rest.

Bang On!

Rakul Preet Singh’s generously flared sharara had us playing this video on loop. It is the tonal embroidery of her outfit that just hits the right spot. Monotone festive looks will never not be stylish!

Well, wasn’t this one stylish party? Which one of these festive looks did you like the most?
