Ayushmann Khurrana has been guilty of stealing every girl’s heart ever since he made his Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor. His charismatic personality, adorable dimples and infectious smile can make every girl go weak in the knees. Ayushmann has been a camera’s child since he was 20 years old. Having participated in popular reality shows like Channel V’s PopStars, MTV Roadies and being a popular VJ, Ayushmann knows all the pros and cons of a life in front of the camera.
Despite being a star, he is a completely private man when it comes to his beautiful wife, Tahira and their two children, Virajveer (7) and Varushka (5).

In a recent interview, Ayushmann opened up about his children and how he prefers to keep his family life under wraps, away from the paparazzi–especially his kids. He said, “They should have (the same) normal upbringing that we had. That’s good for their growth.” Well said, Ayushmann!
He also said that he doesn’t want them to think they’re stars but instead wants them to lead a normal life and work hard for everything. “They should learn everything the hard way and that can only be possible when Tahira (Kashyap Khurrana) and I bring them up in a certain away and keep them away from the arch lights.”
This is so thoughtful. Looks like Ayushmann isn’t just a great actor–he’s a great dad too!
The couple often shares pictures of their little munchkins on social media for us to see and always leaves us awww-ing at them.
We honestly are NOT surprised by Ayushmann’s decision–it’s not easy to bring up kids while being in the limelight. And with the paparazzi following his every move, it’s probably a wise move on his part. What do you think?
Ayushman recently announced that he is going to take a ‘long break’ from films to spend more time with his family. He will be seen next in Bala, a movie that deals with the issue of premature baldness in men. It is slated for a November 15 release, and stars also Yami Gautam, Bhumi Pednekar, Saurabh Shukla, Javed Jaffrey, and Seema Pahwa.
