Asim Riaz Calls Umar Riaz’s Eviction Unfair & Here’s Why We Totally Agree With Him

When Umar Riaz entered the Bigg Boss house, we were hella excited and he surely lived up to the expectations. The talented doctor was full of charm, always did his best in the tasks, and took a stand wherever it was needed. NGL, we were certain that Umar might be walking home with the coveted trophy soon.

However, everything came crashing down when host Salman Khan announced Umar’s eviction following his physical fight with Pratik Sehajpal. Umar’s elimination didn’t sit well with his fans for a number of reasons.

Recently, Umar’s brother and Bigg Boss 13 runner-up Asim Riaz opened up on the eviction. In an interview, Asim said, “Obviously the eviction was unfair because this is not the first time that someone has pushed someone in this season. But they were retained in the season and Umar was asked to leave the show. In this season, there were other contestants also as I said earlier, but as Umar was the strongest he was evicted”

Asim added, “He was loved by everyone outside. Karan Kundrra had pushed Pratik and there were other incidents also but then no action was taken at that point in time. This time Umar was asked to leave, if they really wanted to be fair they should have taken the decision at that time also but they didn’t.”

We have the same questions about this elimination. How come Karan was given another chance for the same action while Umar was shown the door? If physical violence is the line, what about the time when Abhijit Bichukale aggressively pounced on Devoleena Bhattacharjee? What about the time when Simba Nagpal pushed Umar in the pool? We are not trying to indulge in whataboutery, but the makers have made their double standards quite obvious this season.

We think it is fair to say Umar made a mark on the show and left us all massively impressed. No matter where he goes, he’ll always be a winner for us.
