Ever since Priyanka Chopra announced that she’s become a mother, we’ve been waiting to know more about her lil angel. And guess what? Her nani, Dr Madhu Chopra, just gave us an update about her and it’s beyond special.
Recently, Priyanka’s mother hosted a live session on the ‘gram. Someone asked her when the actress and her baby would be visiting India? To which she replied that she is waiting for her grandchild to come soon. “I am always hoping. Never say never. It’s her country, she could come,” she added.
She was also asked how the baby is doing, to which she said, “I haven’t seen her. I am here and she is in LA. We do Facetime once in a while. I think she is happy and joyous. This is all I can say for now. But maybe when I go and meet her in the middle of the year, I will be able to answer this better.”
Furthermore, Madhu also shared that she had been waiting to become a grandmother for the longest time. “It’s so joyful! I can’t tell you how my heart just goes…I think it’s something that I have been waiting for a very long time. It has happened now and I cannot conceal my happiness. I don’t even remember Priyanka and my son anymore. All I think about is the little one,” she added. Aww..how sweet is this?
For the unversed, Priyanka and Nick Jonas started talking in 2016 when the singer slid into her DMs. They started dating after a year and a half and got hitched in a dreamy ceremony in 2018 in India. The lovebirds welcomed their first child via surrogacy in January this year. They surprised everyone with the announcement of the arrival of their first child on their Instagram handles.
