We are not sure if it is because of the awesome stylist or her personal growth as a fashionista but Anushka Sharma‘s style has never been this #BossLady. One look after the other, Anushka is dropping some serious #StyleBombs on us, and we cannot help but get haunted by the amazing dresses that she’s been wearing. Just like the one she wore recently. Super casual but oh-so-fancy, this blue and white patterned dress had everything. See for yourself:

What we thought to be three-piece set with a shirt, a button down skirt and a corset belt, turned out to be a beautiful dress by Silvia Tcherassi. Called the ‘Soragna Dress’, it comes with a fresh take on the cotton-poplin look and here are three reasons why it is on our trend watch:
1. The Bubble Sleeves
The dress comes with a mandarin collar and beautifully structured bubble sleeves, which lend a high-fashion look to the casual ensemble.
2. The Pattern Play
The unexpected take on checks and stripes on the Soragna dress by Silvia Tcherassi make it one of the most covetable garments for summer. Styling pattern on pattern sure is a challenging task but this pretty number takes care of it all in an effortless way. All this in a colour combination of blue and white is making us wish Summer lasted just a wee bit longer. Damn!
3. The Telese Belt
Our favourite part about the dress is the statement-making Telese belt it comes with. It will accentuate your waist in the most flattering manner and that is why, no matter the body type, this dress will look great on all.
Love it too? Splurge on the Soragna Dress (Rs 57,000) by the Miami-based fashion designer, Silvia Tcherassi. You can also buy it from the Le Mill store in Mumbai. It is a multi-brand, luxury fashion house located in Colaba. And, you might just run into a celebrity or two there. Those are the kind of win-win situations we live for!
Anushka completed the look with a pair of grey tie-up stiletto heels in a suede finish by Aquazzura.

The model, however, went for a more resort/beachy look by teaming the dress with satin mules and green-framed sunglasses. The shirt buttons are also undone from the top and the bottom exuding a very ‘devil may care’ vibe.
So, there you go, two unique ways to style a shirt dress. While one is formal, the other is casual chic. A slight change in accessories and footwear can bring a noteworthy difference to your look. How do you style your shirt dress? Tell us in the comments section.
