Remember our excitement when Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced the birth of their baby girl? Well, little Vamika is not so little anymore. The munchkin is over a year old and is growing into a smart and observant young lady. Given that her mom is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood and her dad is the finest cricketer of all time, we are not surprised. The Pari star recently revealed that her daughter is the ‘true and undiluted’ happiness of her life. She also shared her baby girl’s cute habits and they are making our hearts so full.
During a recent interview with a leading daily, Anushka opened up about her choice of taking a break from acting after embracing motherhood. She said, “I feel empowered with the choices I’ve made, which is how I always want to feel. No one is asking me to do it; this is my choice, to be able to do things in a certain way.”
Anushka will soon make a comeback in Bollywood after four years with her upcoming movie, Chadka ‘Xpress. While talking about her hiatus, she said, “I don’t think I can be someone who can do multiple things at once, but there are women who can, and kudos to them. But that does not mean anyone is lesser or more because of that.”
She revealed that she’s living her best life ATM, all thanks to baby Vamika. While talking about her happiest moments, Anushka said it’s when her daughter tries to make her laugh. “And, when she sees that she has made me laugh, she repeats the action over and over, to make me laugh again.” This is the cutest thing we’ve heard in a while. Anushka shared that Vamika is really smart and tries her best to make her parents smile. “She’s so young and tries so hard. And when I begin laughing, she enjoys it tremendously. This simple act really touches me,” she added.
We gotta say, Vamika’s sweet antics have touched our hearts as well. We cannot wait to hear more about the little one and we hope that Anushka is listening.
