Former Anupamaa Star Claims 80 % Of The Cast Wants To Quit

My favourite thing to do with my mom is to watch Anupamaa every day. After all, nothing unites an Indian family more than a good telly show. But it turns out the drama behind the scenes of Anupamaa is much more interesting than the show itself. Recently, a former star of the show—Paras Kalnawat—made a shocking claim about the daily soap.

Paras walked out of Anupamaa following a dispute with the makers. In a recent interview, he shared, “Honestly speaking 80% of the cast would want to exit if given an opportunity. Risk lene ki aur sahi ke liye ladne ki taaqat har kisi mein nahi hoti. (No one has the courage to take a risk or to fight for what is right)”

If they were handing out awards for stirring the pot, Paras would have won it for sure. But I have to say— the man has guts!

Here’s What Happened Between Paras & Team Anupamaa

Paras’ exit from Anupamaa was much more dramatic than any plot twist on the show. The actor used to play Samar, one of the main characters on the show and he was adored for it. According to the grapevine, the show’s makers weren’t pleased with Paras’ decision of participating in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The show’s production house accused the actor of ‘breach of contract’ after he signed a contract with a rival channel ‘without any prior intimation’.

Later, Paras shared an official statement on the subject and made shocking claims. He said, “My scenes were cut. I was put in a bad light; people started falsely gossiping about me that I had threatened them and spoken certain things about them.”

It appears Paras is not ready to move on from the Anupamaa chapter. We will only get a clear picture once the makers issue an official statement. It’s better not to speculate coz our fave show is still ruling the TRP!
