It was in September when Ankita Lokhande’s Pavitra Rishta 2.0 co-star Shaheer Sheikh accidentally dropping hints about her impending wedding. It all happened during an interview with an entertainment portal. While Ankita shared that she had no plans at all, Shaheer was quick to intervene and blurt “Come on, you’re getting married.” The actress looked visibly stunned by the statement and immediately asked him to shut up by saying, “Shaheer, are you mad? Shut up, shut up, shut up, no no nothing like that.” Later, when Shaheer was quizzed about the same, he tried handling the situation by insisting that he had no idea and asked paparazzi to wipe off the footage. Ankita too tried to clarify things by adding, “I’m not doing anything, I’m starting something from February.” Well, guess what? Sounds like Shaheer was right after all.
Just recently, Ankita took to Instagram to share a picture that has everyone asking “when is the shaadi?” In the picture, you can see comfy flats and sliders that a brand has made for the bridesmaids and the bride-to-be. In fact, you can spot a pair of ivory sliders with “bride-to-be” embroidered on them along with a tiny box that says “happy bride.”
Well, it looks like Ankita and beau Vicky Jain are all set to jump the bandwagon too. The actress has been dropping hints after hints on her Instagram feed and also posted a picture of their hands together earlier today. “EACH OTHER is the best and only thing in life that we have to hold on to ❤️,” she captioned the post.
Vicky and Ankita’s wedding rumours have been doing rounds for a year now and guess, it is finally happening. Just last month, it was also being said that their wedding functions will take place from December 12 to 14. However, there has not been a clear confirmation from the couple yet. That said, the actress did talk about her dream of a destination wedding earlier this year by saying, “Yes, I am super excited about my marriage, which is going to be soon. I am hoping for that. And I really like that Jaipur-Jodhpur Rajasthani weddings. But I am not really sure what will I plan.”
As you can tell, the wedding is finally happening and well, we are here for it. Rest assured, we can not wait to see Ankita looking like a million bucks in her wedding finery. Here’s hoping that we get to see all the pictures soon!
