I must have been 6-7 years old when I watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai for the first time. I was too young to know what was going on with Rahul, Tina and Anjali, but, the only person who I could identify with was Anjali (played by Sana Saeed). Maybe, it was her innocence, or maybe, it was to do with how natural and free her expressions looked on camera. I don’t know, but even today when I watch the film, I feel that her acting was anything but extra. She was like any other girl who wanted the best for her dad. Even today when I look at the pictures of Sana Saeed from the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Anniversary party, I see a girl who is fun, bubbly, loves clicking selfies and is obsessed with makeup like the most of us.
