If we were to name the most happening trio in tinsel town, it has to include Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Ananya Panday on the list. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor threw a welcome back party for her sister Khushi upon her return to Mumbai as she wrapped up the shoot of her debut film, The Archies. Of course, The bash was attended by her besties Shanaya and Ananya.
In no time, the pictures from the party surfaced on our Instagram feeds and we now wish we had an invite! While we loved all the snaps, one particular video got our attention.
Before making her way to the party, Ananya was seen happily posing for the paps, but then the photographers asked her to get Shanaya into the frame too. The Khaali Peeli actress instantly told them, “Vo nahi aari hai mein kya karu” (She is not coming, what can I do).
NGL, we are glad to see how understanding Ananya was of the fact that Shanaya wasn’t in a mood to get clicked. Instead of making her friend do something she wasn’t comfortable with, Ananya shut down the paps in the sweetest way.
Being a tinsel town star means you are constantly in public scrunity with a hound of photographers capturing your every move. This can be overwhelming at times! So, kudos to Ananya for standing up for her bestie and not bowing to the demands of the paps.
In an earlier interview, Ananya opened up on her friendship with Shanaya and shared, “Shanaya and I have grown up together and are practically of the same age. So whenever trolling or bullying happens, we have each other’s back. We can count on each other during our lows. There is a negative side of comparison and trolling, but there are so many positive aspects to it and I just want to focus on that.”
NGL, their pakki dosti has us wondering if we will ever get a chance to see Ananya and Shanaya working together on a project? ‘Coz we are sure it will be a smashing hit!
