Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan, and Shanaya Kapoor are the cutest best friends and we’ve seen that umpteen times. They share the sweetest photographs of each other on their birthdays and call themselves ‘Charlie’s Angels’. OMG, we want in!
Now, during the promotions of Pati Patni Aur Woh, Ananya Panday let us in on a secret. She opened up about how Shah Rukh Khan’s darling daughter, Suhana Khan would always get the lead role in the school plays and she would only get a background role.
In an interview with a leading daily, Ananya showered her bestie with praises. She said, “Suhana and I were in the same school together. We used to be in all the school plays and she used to be the main lead and I used to be this thing moving in the background. This is really cool because I think she is a brilliant actor. Suhana is just too talented…She is a great singer and a great dancer. A lot of big things are meant for Suhana.”
After graduating from Ardingly College in Sussex, England, Suhana is now pursuing her higher education in New York at NYU. She has already acted in a short film called The Grey Part of Blue directed by Theodore Gimeno, which has received a lot of love.
Earlier she also acted as the lead in a college play Romeo and Juliet. Shah Rukh Khan had taken to social media to share a picture of Suhana in Juliet’s avatar. He wrote, “With my Juliet in London. What a wonderful experience and exceptional performances by the whole cast. Congratulations to the whole team.”
Well, that’s a proud daddy talking!
