When it comes to Bollywood BFFs, Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan top the list! Apart from their khatta meetha bond, fashionable outings, they also have something else in common. Both want to be the next big thing in Bollywood. While Ananya has been in the film fraternity for almost four years and has done over 7 films, her bestie Suhana is about to take her first step in the industry with The Archies. And guess what? Ananya recently opened up about her thoughts on Suhana’s much-anticipated entry in Bollywood!
In a recent interview, the Student Of The Year 2 actress was questioned about her feelings as her closest friend making her big Bollywood debut. To this, Ananya mentioned that Suhana, despite being a newcomer, exudes confidence rather than nervousness. “She is not nervous. She is very confident and I think she is very good at what she does. So I am actually very excited to see her. After The Archies teaser everyone is loving her,” the actor said. When asked if she’s feeling a bit insecure about the increased competition, Ananya gracefully replied, “I don’t feel insecure, I feel competitive. I have always been competitive. I think it’s good to have healthy competition because it keeps you motivated. It makes me want to work even harder. It is inspiring whenever new talent comes because you get to see what good work is out there, you get to learn from people.” Now that’s the incredible beauty of women supporting women!
When Ananya Spoke About Suhana’s Acting Prowess In School!
The seed of Ananya and Suhana’s friendship and their love for acting got sowed way back in school when they were kids. While Ananya stepped into the film industry before Suhana, it was the latter who used to bag the most lead roles during school plays. While talking about the same lines in one of her promotional events for Pati Patni Aur Woh, Ananya shared, “Suhana and I were in the same school together. We used to be in all the school plays and she used to be the main lead and I used to be this thing moving in the background. This is really cool because I think she is a brilliant actor. Suhana is just too talented…She is a great singer and a great dancer. A lot of big things are meant for Suhana.”
Well, we gotta give it to Ananya for always being Suhana’s biggest cheerleader! We def wish The Archies star all the love and luck for her future endeavours. Can’t wait to see the magic she creates on big screens.
