Age Limit Mein Raho: Ananya Panday Denied Entry Into A Mumbai Club

Ananya Panday, daughter of actor Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey, has gained tremendous popularity since her debut film Student Of The Year 2. Though the movie didn’t win big on the box office, everyone’s favourite part of the film was Ananya, who impressed with her acting skills as a spoilt brat, Shreya.

The celebrity kid has been in the news for a while now. Whether it is the gossip of her link-up with Kartik Aaryan, to which she recently said, “It’s cute, it’s fun. Ya, I am happy,” or that of her ex-classmate claiming Ananya faked her admission in the University of South California, the young actress finds her way into limelight easily.

According to a recent report by Mumbai Mirror, the young actress was denied entry to a swanky club in Mumbai’s Lower Parel last Friday night. Apparently, the club admits guests who are 24 or above, and doesn’t allow entry to anyone below the age limit. Ananya, who is only 20 years old, was thus denied entry for being underage.

In Maharashtra, the legal age for consumption and purchase of hard alcohol is 25 years and that for consumption and purchase of beer is 21 years. So, as per the state’s law as well as the club’s policy, Ananya had to head back home.

On the work front, Ananya Panday will be next seen in a romantic-comedy titled Pati Pati Aur Woh with her crush Kartik Aaryan. The movie also features Bhumi Pednekar in a lead role and is scheduled to release on December 6, 2019.
