Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has been keeping busy with the promotions of her debut film Student Of The Year 2, also starring Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff. SOTY 2 has been one of the most anticipated films of the year ever since the first looks of the actors came out. The curiosity has only doubled after the release of the trailer. Ananya’s performance has received a lot of love and appreciation, and the star kid is basking in all the attention she’s getting from both fans and the paparazzi.
In an interview, the starlet said, “I was 14 or 15 and remember accompanying my parents to a screening. I wasn’t allowed in because it was an 11 pm show. I begged mom to let me in and sat on the floor because there were no seats available. When I saw Alia as Shanaya, I knew this was what I wanted to do too. It was a surreal feeling. I wanted the Dharma theme song to play at the start of my film too.”
Recently, at a promotional event for the film, Ananya and Tara made an interesting revelation about Tiger. Tiger was asked what he was better than everyone else at. “Main kis mein best hoon? Uh… I actually don’t know what I am the best at,” he replied, after much thinking. Tara interjected, “I think he just said it. ‘Main kiss mein best hoon.'” Ananya confirmed that Tiger was indeed a great kisser. “I can vouch for that,” she said, and Tara agreed with her.
Ananya was asked it was the best kiss she has ever experienced, Ananya said, “Mom, it was my first kiss ever and I have not kissed anyone else, so I can’t compare. It was the best first kiss ever.”
Tiger can be seen locking lips with Ananya as well as Tara in the song Mumbai Dilli Di Kudiyaan in the film.
In a recent interview with a daily, Ananya spoke candidly about her crush on Kartik Aaryan. Karan Johar reminded her that Sara Ali Khan is in line too and Ananya said, “Yeah, so I want to go on that date where Sara and he are going.”
She further added, “I’m 20 and it’s normal to have a crush on someone. I’m open about my feelings. Yes, I find Kartik cute and I’m lucky I’ve got a chance to work with him.”
Ananya will be seen sharing screen space with her crush Kartik in Pati, Patni Aur Woh starring the duo and Bhumi Pednekar. It is the remake of the 1978 classic of the same name. Her debut film Student Of The Year 2 is slated to hit theatres on May 10, 2019.
