“I’m asking, ‘When is she going to retaliate?’ So, I was not liking it. He was coming home drunk and I was removing his shoes and that was working. The TRP was going high.”

She elaborated that she was shocked to learn that the audience liked the show when she was getting hit by her husband!

“It was so sad that my producer was telling me that when he slaps you, the TRP goes high so, he’ll slap. I was like ‘No, I can’t take it. Let her also do something’. That showed me something about our society where the TRP is rising when she is being slapped. So, I was feeling very suffocated and I really wanted to retaliate.”

It’s so disheartening to see that the audience are liking such disgusting plotlines and the makers are even catering to it. It’s 2024 and the movies with stronger and better plotlines are really the need of the hour.
