As glamm and glorious as the limelight might appear to be, being a celebrity has its downside— constant pressure to appear flawless, trolling, and, worst of all, endless speculations about your personal life. Yesterday, telly star Arjun Bijlani had to face something similar following an unusual post on Instagram. It all started with a bizarre picture on his feed that read “Forever is a lie.” Arjun posted the picture with a broken heart emoji that left everyone confused. In no time, social media was flooded with his divorce rumours.
However, the star shut down the reports earlier today and explained that the post had nothing to do with his love life. He put all the speculations to rest by sharing throwback wedding pictures featuring his wifey, Neha Swami. He wrote, “This love is forever !!! The post last night has nothing to do with my personal life…. Received a lot of calls and msgs yesterday which honestly I’m grateful for because it shows how much people care and love us. Following this, Arjun also revealed the story behind his confusing post. As it turns out, the actor would soon be appearing in an original web series on MX Player and the cryptic post was a PR exercise. Phew! Not gonna lie, we too were beginning to get a little worried.
When Neha Met Arjun
Just a few weeks ago, Neha made her television debut with a couple-based game show, Smart Jodi with Arjun where the two shared their fairytale love story. During the show, the Naagin actor spilt the beans about how he met Neha for the first time and said, “It was 18-19 years back. Those were the struggling days. I didn’t even sign my first show. I went to a 5-star place in Juhu with my friends – did some jugaad for the entry. She came from Lucknow. Some common friend invited her. She was sitting, and I noticed her below knee-length hair. She had poker-straight hair. Sometimes from the backside, you are able to tell that the person can be pretty. I walked in front of her slowly and I was like,ladki toh badi pyaari hai (the girl is quite sweet). That’s how we met and began talking.” Arjun further revealed that he asked Neha to marry him on their fourth date ‘coz he just knew that she was the one.
