Last week all our social media platforms were flooded with the first celebrity shaadi of 2020. Yes, Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra tied the knot on February 3 and the celebration was everything B-town excels at–grand functions, gorgeous sangeet dances and decor that looks like a Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film sets. Guys, I’m not gonna lie. Watching their videos and sangeet performances made me so happy that I felt like I was right there grooving with Kiara Advani on stage.
All the photos and videos pouring in from this extra AF shaadi kept me hooked and we’re pretty sure you’re on the same boat. From Bebo dancing on Bole Chudiyan to Karan Johar dancing on Kajra Re with Gauri and SRK, this shaadi was one heck of a partay!

The big, fat desi wedding can seem like a huge task for any couple to organise on their own. Here is where the team at Milestones to Memories comes to your rescue. They planned Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra’s D-day and specialise in high-end, luxury weddings.

The team at DreamKrraft deserve a standing ovation for their outstanding work with the wedding decor. All the drapes and flowers and the larger-than-life backdrops for the performances were done by these guys and they did a fab job!
For the mehendi, the venue was decorated with colourful drapes and gigantic butterflies. The theme of the function was ‘colourful chic’ and the couple of the hour turned heads as they dressed their royal best. The groom wore a simple powder-blue bandh-gala and Anissa looked like a princess in a lime-green lehenga with mirror work by Abu Jaani and Sandeep Khosla.
The wedding had a more traditional floral theme to it, with carnations and lilies at the forefront of it.

Yeah, all those were choreographed by the superb choreographer, Urvi Shah. She was the force behind Kiara Advani’s tadkta bhadakta performance on Sauda Khara Khara from her own film Good Newwz. She also choreographed the bride’s solo on Sau Aasmaan and her performance with her bridesmaids on everyone’s fav shaadi song currently, Makhna.
The groom’s side danced to the moves choreographed by Visshaal S Kanoi
You know that amazing dance number that Tara Sutaria and her beau Adaar Jain did on Dil Lootya? It was choreographed by the super talented Visshaal S Kanoi. All the dances from the groom’s side including Kareena Kapoor’s Bole Choodiyaan were done by this guy and we’re grooving along. So who do you think won the sangeet competition- ladkewaale or ladkiwaale!?
Sam And Ekta were the geniuses behind the camera
If it didn’t happen on Insta, it didn’t happen at all and so a good photographer is just as important as the perfect wedding dress. For this grand function, the star couple picked Sam and Ekta as their photographers and we must say they did a fabulous job at not only capturing the grand moments but also the tiny memories that you want to cherish forever.
From documenting Armaan’s haldi, barat and sehra bandhi to capturing the moment Anissa came out in her royal Sabyasachi avatar and her friends started shrieking. They even captured the most paww-dorable moment of Anissa’s puppy running around with joy and it made our hearts melt.
Filming the day they made it official was the team from The Wedding Crasher
Just as important as the photographs is the wedding film and this wedding was shot by The Wedding Crasher. While the actual film hasn’t come out yet, we have got glimpses of it on Armaan’s Instagram stories and it looks like the perfect blend of tear-jerking yet party-ready bash.
For the D-day, the groom looked dapper in a custom, ivory sherwani by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and our pretty bride blushed in a red and gold Sabyasachi lehenga. The functions were held at St. Regis in Mumbai and hai, nazar naa lag jaye!
