In last night’s Koffee With Karan Season 7 episode, Alia Bhatt gave us a lot of heart-touching moments. She talked about the very beginning of #RaAlia, Ranbir’s surprise proposal, and how the two of them lunched together right before the shaadi. During the fun chat, Alia also shared the deets on her life with the Kapoors and how she is adapting to the very close-knit family, its culture and its values. It was apparent that the actress is loving her shaadi shuda life and has gotten very attached to her new fam, especially mom-in-law Neetu Kapoor. In 2020, Alia spent a considerable time at her home after the demise of Rishi Kapoor and stood by her side just like a daughter would. Since then, their bond has only grown stronger.
Well, it is Neetu’s birthday today and Alia has posted the sweetest wish for her mother-in-law. Last night, the actress shared an Instagram story along with an unseen picture from her haldi function to wish Neetu. “Happiest birthday to the most beautiful soul..my mother-in-law/freind/soon to be dadi maa.. love you so so much!!!,” Alia wrote in the caption. This is the first picture of her haldi ceremony that Alia has posted on social media. We love how how Neetu can be seen pampering her pyaari bahu in the picture and the fact that Alia has addressed her as “soon to be dadi” in the caption.

One thing that we know for sure is that this love and admiration is mutual. During the #RaAlia wedding when Neetu was asked to comment on Alia, all she could say was, “Mai kya bolu uske baare mein (What do I say about her). She is the best” and we were all left gushing.
