The first episode of Koffee with Karan Season 6 featured the two current leading ladies of the industry – Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone. Now that the season is over, the makers of the show treated us with some unseen footage shot with the guests on the Koffee couch.
During their time on the couch, Alia and DP talked about how the times have changed and getting married is no longer seen as an end of an actor’s career. The Raazi star said that while she had previously been calculative about when to get married, now her feelings on the topic have changed.

“Honestly, there was a time in my life when I was like I am not going to get married till I am 30. I need to act. But when you feel like you are in a space where you are comfortable and it feels peaceful and right, then there is no timing that really matters,” said Alia, indicating that eventually it’s about the right person and age is just a number.
She also added that she’s never been a very calculative person when it comes to her career and now that content is king, the relationship status of the actor doesn’t really matter. She further elaborated, “I have never calculated my career or my choices. Anyways, it is now proven that it is not actors who drive the film but it is the content. So, whether I am married or single or in a relationship, it does not matter.”
Did she just confirm the Ralia wedding?
When Deepika was put on the spot and asked the same question, she said, “There are a bunch of us today who are clear about what we want for ourselves. I think we are very driven about our careers the similar way we are driven about wanting a stable personal life, a relationship or a marriage. I think all of us are equally capable of managing both or more with an equal amount of passion, dedication, commitment and success.”

She even added that this myth exists only in our country, whereas in the west it doesn’t make a difference. She said that they get married and divorced multiple times even have kids, it still doesn’t affect their careers.
Alia is now going to been seen with her bae, Ranbir Kapoor in Bramhastra and Deepika too is shooting a film with her hubby Ranveer, which is a biopic based on Kapil Dev’s life and we honestly can’t wait to see these real-life jodis sizzle in reel-life too.
