Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have often found themselves in the spotlight as targets for trolls. Whenever Alia mentions her husband in any interview, the online world erupts in a frenzy, scrutinising Ranbir and labelling him a “toxic” partner. While everyone is limited by their perspective, Alia and Ranbir are the only ones who know the truth about their relationship, right? Alia, who has managed to stay silent about the situation, has finally given her reaction!
Alia recently claimed in an interview that Ranbir often asks her to “wipe off” her lipstick because he prefers her natural lip colour. She also revealed a few weeks ago that Ranbir dislikes it when her voice exceeds a particular decibel. Since then, RK has faced a lot of outrage. Some of his fans, though, came out in support of him. And guess what? While Alia hasn’t directly said anything, she has been liking quite a few posts that are in support of her husband!
A Ranbir Kapoor fan page posted a long caption and wrote, “As a woman who has been following Rambir for 10 years, I can say that Ranbir is never a misogynist. He has always shown his support to his wife and other women. Some people take things the way they want to understand and manipulate people. They are the real toxic and Ranbir-haters.” The page also went onto say how RK has always been kind towards his exes and that a husband and wife are allowed to pull each other’s leg.
Another Alia Bhatt fan page posted, “Any kind of criticism is just jealousy. If we are able to see beauty, it is only because we carry that beauty within us. Because the world is like a mirror in which everyone sees their own reflection. Stop being judgemental and spreading hatred towards people. Make sure you fix whats wrong in your life before you start judging others.” While Alia did not comment, she liked both these posts.
Alia Bhatt’s Mother Gives Her Reaction
It seems like Alia Bhatt’s mother, Soni Razdan, has also given her reaction. She recently dropped a cryptic note on her Instagram story which said, “What’s seeming increasingly idiotic: Cancel culture… People deciding for other people what is wrong with their lives. And then everyone jumping into some discussion or the other about things that actually have nothing to do with them. Funny times we live in.”
While the world is busy trolling them, RK and Alia have decided to take a break and are currently holidaying in New York, away from all the hustle and bustle!
TBH, we cannot judge a relationship based on a few interviews and statements. We hope Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt do not let the criticism get to them.
